You may use wildcards (*) in name searches to represent any number of characters, but you must supply at least two characters before the wildcard.
Note that this type of search may be slower.
If exact match is set to Yes we only look for an exact match to the name(s) you typed.
If it is set to No, we automatically add a wildcard at the end of all forenames and surnames to ensure the maximum chance of a match. So if you put John as the forename, you will automatically get Johnathans as well.
